If you like your work varied, people-focused, and far removed from anything repetitive, this role is worth a closer look.

This is a broad People Operations position sitting across HR, employee experience, and office coordination. You’ll act as a key point of contact for all people-related matters, supporting the full employee journey while also keeping the workplace running smoothly day to day.

It’s a role that blends structure with variety, where you’ll be just as involved in supporting managers through complex HR matters as you are organising onboarding, engagement activities, and the day-to-day running of the office environment.

What you’ll be doing day to day:

  • Managing the full recruitment process, from advertising roles through to onboarding and induction
  • Supporting and advising managers on HR policy, employment law, and best practice
  • Handling employee relations matters including absence, performance, grievance, disciplinary, redundancy, and settlements
  • Maintaining and updating HR policies, ensuring consistent application across the business
  • Producing monthly HR reports, dashboards, and KPI analysis
  • Overseeing the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through to exit processes, including parental leave administration
  • Supporting performance review cycles and employee engagement initiatives
  • Assisting with internal communications and wider people projects
  • Coordinating learning and development activity, including identifying training needs and sourcing solutions
  • Managing office operations including supplies, suppliers, and general facilities
  • Organising travel, meetings, visitors, and internal events
  • Planning and delivering company social events and team activities
  • Supporting health and safety processes, including risk assessments and policy compliance

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience across both HR and wider office or operations support
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent experience)
  • Confidence managing employee relations cases independently
  • Ability to influence and advise managers and senior stakeholders
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Clear, professional communication style
  • Discreet, empathetic, and practical approach to problem solving

What’s on offer:

  • Salary up to £38,000 depending on experience
  • CIPD study support
  • 25 days annual leave plus your birthday off and bank holidays
  • Private medical insurance after 1 year of service
  • Hybrid working (1 day working from home)
